Girl group ARTMS has officially locked in their Hyper-Ego comeback, confirming their second mini album for August 7, 2026 at 1 p.m. KST. The release, led by title track Blue Blood, marks their first album in more than a year since mini Club Icarus.
Built around intense synth sounds, glitch and hyperpop, Hyper-Ego is pitched as a new chapter in the ARTMS universe where amplified ego and fractured realities collide. Promotions will move ahead as four members while HaSeul focuses on shoulder surgery recovery, adding emotion for OURII.
ARTMS Hyper-Ego comeback: release date and confirmed details

It is the group’s first release since June 2025 mini Club Icarus, which set new personal records with around 65,000 copies sold on day one and 123,480 in its first week. A full tracklist has not yet been revealed by Modhaus.

Inside the Hyper-Ego concept and sound
In its press statement, Modhaus described Hyper-Ego as being “built around intense synth sounds, glitch, and hyperpop,” capturing “the moment where light and fractures, order and chaos intersect.” The agency framed it as an “amplified ego” that opens a new ARTMS world beyond the usual line between reality and ideals.
A related description speaks of “blue-blooded beings” who face another self after an endless awakening, hinting that identity and self image will sit at the center of this era. That language continues the lore-heavy approach of albums Dall and Club Icarus, but Hyper-Ego signals an even more stylized, almost digital persona focus.
Before the full release, fans have already heard short Blue Blood snippets through official digital collectibles, which have drawn praise for a hyperpop leaning sound. Paired with the “Am I who you think I am?” teaser, the ARTMS Hyper-Ego comeback looks ready to push their synth driven style into bolder territory.
HaSeul’s hiatus, promotions as four and what comes next
Modhaus has confirmed that HaSeul will undergo surgery for a chronic left shoulder injury and pause group work in 2026. Hyper-Ego promotions and touring will be carried out by Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul and Choerry as a four member team, while she remains in the lineup.
The same notice mentioned plans for a solo single and solo concert for HaSeul after recovery, so fans can expect individual activities alongside the Hyper-Ego era. Coming off the Grand Club Icarus world tour, OURII are now watching for more teasers, a full Blue Blood music video and official word on the next round of shows.
