Why (G)I-DLE’s Gimme Dat Love MV teaser has Neverlands bracing for the group’s most seductive era yet

With steam rising and skin glowing, (G)I-DLE turn a sauna into a stage in the new Gimme Dat Love MV teaser, hinting at a sultry shift for their next era. Dropped at midnight KST on July 2, the clip packs all five members into a haze of heat and tension.

The teaser lands just days before their ninth mini album We made, with Gimme Dat Love confirmed as the title track at the center of a sensual summer concept. Between the steamy setting and the Latin pop producers behind the song, many fans are already bracing for what they call the group’s “sexiest era” yet.

Inside the ‘Gimme Dat Love’ MV Teaser

In the new teaser, Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua lounge and move through a sauna-like room framed by low, amber lighting and drifting steam. Close-up shots linger on confident gazes, damp skin, and casual but charged touches, matching the song’s theme of being pulled toward someone you cannot resist.

A bright whistle hook runs over the visuals, giving the first real taste of the “summer love” track described in official write-ups. Gimme Dat Love is produced by Nigerian-born Grammy winner Daramola and Latin pop producer Samantha Cámara, whose global pop and Latin-influenced background hints at a looser, groovier swing than past title tracks.

Why This Era Feels Extra Sultry

The sauna clip builds on weeks of heat-heavy imagery. An earlier MV teaser showed the group glowing in warm golden-hour light outdoors, while concept photos placed them in sporty sleeveless tops, relaxed pants, and wet-look makeup against bathroom tiles, desert sand, and red-and-blue thermal-style backdrops.

All of that marks a sharp turn from pre-release track Crow, which leaned into occult, eerie visuals. Moving from that cold, shadowy world into Gimme Dat Love’s sweat and sunlight makes We made feel like a story about stepping out of the night into dangerous desire, and English-speaking Neverlands are calling it a “visual war,” “too hot,” and their “sexiest era,” while also noting Soyeon’s icebluerabbit lyric credit keeps their self-written edge intact.

We made Release Time, Tracklist, and What Comes Next

Mini album We made drops on July 6 at 6 p.m. KST, which is 5 a.m. Eastern and 2 a.m. Pacific in the United States, with the full Gimme Dat Love music video expected to arrive alongside it. The six-track project includes Mono (feat. skaiwater), Gimme Dat Love, Morning, Crow, Love Is Pain, and a CD-only Mono (feat. skaiwater) (Mono Ver.), with Soyeon contributing lyrics to the title track and Morning and Yuqi composing Love Is Pain.

Crow, released June 15, has already topped QQ Music’s daily digital album bestseller chart and reached iTunes rankings in 11 countries, setting high expectations for the title track. That momentum follows the 2026 i-dle WORLD TOUR [Syncopation] shows in Hong Kong, where roughly 80,000 fans filled Kai Tak Stadium over two nights, and fandom wikis citing Korean reports mention a North American tour expected in August, so U.S. Neverlands are watching official channels closely to see how this steamy era will play out live.
