Hakata heritage and the western waterfront
Kushida Shrine anchors the older Hakata side of Fukuoka, while Ohori Park offers a lakeside setting farther west. Fukuoka Tower marks the Momochi waterfront. These three landmarks help distinguish the parts of the city rather than suggesting that every major venue is clustered around Hakata Station.
Check the hall and the city
Marine Messe Fukuoka Hall A and Fukuoka Kokusai Center belong to the Hakata waterfront's event area. The Mizuho PayPay Dome and the present Zepp Fukuoka are in the western dome neighbourhood. Marine Messe has more than one hall, so the letter on the ticket matters. Kitakyushu Messe, although grouped under Fukuoka in this directory, is in Kitakyushu: plan a separate trip and verify the exact exhibition building instead of following directions to Marine Messe.
Choose a local pre-show visit
Kushida Shrine and the Hakata streets can fit a day centred on the port-side venues. Ohori Park or the Momochi seafront make a more coherent western outing. Avoid fitting both sides of town and an intercity transfer into a short early-entry window. At a convention venue, a lobby photograph also should not be mistaken for the concert hall or an indication of the stage arrangement.
