K-pop at festivals

A festival slot is a different beast from a tour date. The set is shorter, the staging is borrowed, the crowd has largely come for someone else — and that is exactly why these appearances matter: they are where a group plays to people who did not buy a ticket for them. Lollapalooza, Mad Cool and Head in the Clouds have all become routes into markets a headline tour would not reach yet, and Waterbomb and KCON are the reverse case, festivals built around this audience from the start.

Each page here covers one edition of one festival: the dates and the site, the city and venue records they attach to, the line-up broken down by day where the schedule has been published, and the official ticket outlets. Where a K-pop act on the bill has its own concert record, the two are linked, so you can go from the festival to that specific set and back.

Festival line-ups move — a day is added, an act drops out, stage times land late. We list what has been confirmed rather than what has been rumoured, and a day with nothing confirmed yet simply does not appear. Always check the official ticketing page before booking travel.
