Studio N is a South Korean film and television production company established in August 2018 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Naver Webtoon (Webtoon Entertainment Inc.). Based in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, it develops and produces films, dramas and animation adapted from the webtoons and web novels hosted on Naver’s platform, acting as an “IP bridge” between Webtoon and outside media production companies. Led by CEO Kwon Mi-kyung, a former head of CJ ENM’s film business division, Studio N’s credits include the series Sweet Home, True Beauty, Yumi’s Cells and Bloodhounds, and the record-breaking 2025 zombie comedy film My Daughter Is a Zombie, which was produced by Studio N and distributed in South Korea by Next Entertainment World (NEW).
Next Entertainment World Co., Ltd. (Korean: 넥스트엔터테인먼트월드; acronym NEW) is a South Korean media content production and distribution company founded in 2008 by former Showbox president Kim Woo-taek. It rose to prominence when it topped the Korean film market share in 2013 and has since grown into a comprehensive entertainment group spanning film, music, sports, management, international distribution and cinema through subsidiaries such as Studio&NEW, Music&NEW, Contents Panda, Cine Q and NEW ID. NEW is listed on the KOSDAQ exchange under stock code 160550. Among its notable distribution credits are the Train to Busan franchise (2016, 2020) and the 2025 record-setting zombie comedy “My Daughter Is a Zombie,” which NEW distributed in South Korea (produced by Naver Webtoon’s Studio N).
Studio S (스튜디오S), legally Studio S, Inc. (also rendered Studio S Co., Ltd.), is a South Korean drama production and content-distribution company and a subsidiary of Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS). It was formerly known as The Story Works Co., established in 2010, and was relaunched under the Studio S name on April 1, 2020, when SBS merged its in-house Drama Division with The Story Works to consolidate the network’s scripted drama production. Headquartered at the SBS Prism Tower in the Sangam media district of Seoul, the studio has produced and distributed dozens of Korean dramas, including Business Proposal, Taxi Driver, The Penthouse: War in Life and Dr. Romantic 3. In 2026 it co-produced the hit SBS revenge-action series “Agent Kim Reactivated” together with the management agency Fantagio.
Fantagio is a South Korean entertainment company that operates as a talent management agency, record label, and film and television production company. It was founded on September 16, 2008 as N.O.A Entertainment Co., Ltd. by Na Byeong-jun (formerly of SidusHQ) and was renamed Fantagio in June 2011, a name combining “Fantasy” and “Origin.” Headquartered in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, the company is publicly listed on the Korea Exchange and manages a roster of actors and musicians, including the K-pop group Astro and actors such as Cha Eun-woo, Kim Seon-ho, Lee Sung-kyung, and Ong Seong-wu. As a management agency, Fantagio co-produced the 2026 SBS revenge-action drama “Agent Kim Reactivated” together with Studio S, SBS’s in-house drama production subsidiary.
S2 Entertainment is a South Korean entertainment company and record label founded in 2020 by Hong Seung-sung, the co-founder and former CEO of Cube Entertainment. Headquartered in the Gangnam District of Seoul, the company operates as both a record label and a talent management agency. Its first act was the girl group Hot Issue (2021-2022), and it is currently home to the girl group Kiss of Life, which debuted on July 5, 2023.
Dream T Entertainment (also written Dream Tea Entertainment) was a South Korean entertainment company founded in 2009 by Lee Jong-seok. It managed Girl’s Day from their 2010 debut until the members left in 2019, and ceased operations in 2021.
Tamago Production is a South Korean label and management company founded by YouTuber Kim Gye-ran to manage the girl band QWER, which was assembled through the YouTube-based “QWER Project”. Management has been handled together with 3Y Corporation.
