Paris concert listings extend well beyond central Paris. Bercy, La Villette, Porte de la Chapelle, Saint-Denis and Nanterre need different arrival plans.

Overview

Landmarks for orientation, not venue directions

The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre's Cour Carree and Sacre-Coeur identify the riverfront, the historic centre and Montmartre. Each can anchor a short visit, but they do not sit beside a single Paris concert district. A useful concert itinerary starts with the performance location, then adds a nearby walk or cultural stop instead of crossing the whole metropolitan area before entry.

Check the municipality as well as the name

Accor Arena is in Bercy, Zenith Paris is in La Villette, and Adidas Arena is at Porte de la Chapelle. Stade de France is in Saint-Denis, while the arena historically called Paris La Defense Arena is in Nanterre. Both are outside the City of Paris even though tours use 'Paris' as the stop name. Sponsor names can change, so match your ticket with the address and the event's official directions rather than relying only on an older photograph.

Keep the sightseeing route local

For Bercy, the river and Bercy neighbourhood make a more coherent pre-show outing than a last-minute climb through Montmartre. For La Villette, the park offers a different local setting. Save a substantial Louvre visit or the Eiffel Tower for a window that leaves room for queues and a return to your accommodation. Large bags and museum purchases can complicate arena entry; check the event's policy before setting out.

Getting there

Check Ile-de-France Mobilites for your venue and concert date, including planned works. At Stade de France or the Nanterre arena, follow the recommended station and gate rather than a generic ‘Paris’ route. Keep the return journey to your hotel or mainline station separate from the time the concert is expected to finish.
