Landmarks across the city
Taipei 101 marks the Xinyi skyline, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall provides a monumental central setting, and Longshan Temple belongs to Wanhua. These places introduce distinct parts of Taipei rather than a single neighbourhood. A temple visit should respect worship and posted photography guidance, while a tower visit needs its own allowance for entry and queues.
Arena, dome, convention centre or NTSU?
Taipei Arena is in Songshan; Taipei Dome is a separate venue near the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park area. Taipei International Convention Center is in Xinyi. NTSU Arena belongs to National Taiwan Sport University in Guishan, Taoyuan, outside Taipei City. This last distinction is particularly important when planning accommodation: a central Taipei hotel does not place you beside the university arena. Check the full venue address rather than relying on an abbreviated event title.
Choose a district-based visit
For a Xinyi event, time around Taipei 101 can keep the afternoon focused. Longshan Temple and the surrounding Wanhua streets make a different outing, while the memorial hall belongs to another route. For NTSU, finish central sightseeing with enough time for the transfer into Taoyuan and the final approach to the campus. A photograph of the university grounds is not necessarily a view of the arena interior.
