Jo Jung-suk (조정석; born December 26, 1980) is a South Korean actor and singer, widely regarded as one of the country's most versatile leading men across film, television, and musical theater. He trained in the theater department of the Seoul Institute of the Arts and spent nearly a decade on the musical stage before making his acclaimed film debut as the scene-stealing "Nab-ddeuki" in the 2012 blockbuster Architecture 101, which won him Best New Actor at the Blue Dragon Film Awards. He achieved massive popularity as surgeon Lee Ik-jun in the hit tvN drama Hospital Playlist (2020-2021) and as the leads of box-office successes such as Exit (2019) and Pilot (2024), the latter earning him the Baeksang Arts Award for Best Actor in Film. In 2025 he headlined the record-breaking zombie comedy My Daughter Is a Zombie, playing single father and zookeeper Lee Jung-hwan.
