Qian Kun, known professionally as Kun, is a Chinese singer, songwriter and producer, and the leader and main vocalist of WayV, the China-based sub-unit of SM Entertainment's group NCT. Born in Fujian in 1996, he joined SM Entertainment in 2015 and was introduced through the pre-debut team SM Rookies. He first appeared with NCT's rotational unit NCT U in 2016 and officially debuted as WayV's leader on January 17, 2019. He is also active as a composer and lyricist on several of the group's releases.
