YangYang (born Liu Yang Yang, October 10, 2000) is a Taiwanese rapper, singer and dancer active in South Korea and China. He is a member of WayV, the Chinese sub-unit of SM Entertainment's NCT collective, where he serves as main rapper, sub-vocalist, lead dancer and the group's maknae (youngest member). Born in Taiwan and raised in Düsseldorf, Germany, he is multilingual, speaking Mandarin, Korean, English and German fluently. He debuted with WayV on January 17, 2019 with the digital EP "The Vision" and later joined the rotational NCT sub-unit NCT U during the NCT 2020 project.
