IVE (아이브) is a South Korean girl group formed by Starship Entertainment, debuting on December 1, 2021 with the single album Eleven. One of the defining acts of K-pop’s fourth generation, the six-member group — An Yujin (leader), Gaeul, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, Rei and Leeseo — reached mainstream success almost immediately, winning its first music show a week after debut.
IVE built a run of hits including “Love Dive” (2022), “After Like” (2022) and “I Am” (2023), and its first studio album I’ve Ive (2023) topped the Circle Album Chart with over 1.3 million first-week copies. Two of its members, An Yujin and Jang Wonyoung, previously debuted in the project group IZ*ONE. The fandom is named DIVE.
