NCT WISH released its fourth mini-album, I SPY, on Monday at 6 p.m. KST, with all six tracks arriving on streaming platforms and physical copies going on sale the same day. The title track shares the album’s name, and SM Entertainment describes it as a hybrid dance-pop song built around one very specific moment: the second you realize you like someone, when every sense turns toward that person.
That alone would be a standard comeback headline. The weekend around the release was not. At the end of a three-show fan event in Seoul, the six-member NCT unit announced its first-ever concerts at Gocheok Sky Dome, the domed stadium in southwestern Seoul that counts among Korea’s largest indoor venues. The shows are set for Jan. 15 and 16, 2027, roughly three months after the album, not days. That spacing is part of why the news hit so hard.
NCT WISH’s ‘I SPY’ Is Out Now
I SPY is the group’s fourth mini-album, confirmed both by SM Entertainment and by the group’s official X account, which counts roughly 972,000 followers. All six tracks landed at once, with the physical edition available from day one.
The title track leans into excitement and curiosity, plus the urge to pull someone into your own world. It is a first-crush song with a pulse, and it sets the emotional register for everything that follows.
NCT WISH debuted in February 2024 as a six-member NCT unit with Korean and Japanese members. Its lineup, Sion, Yushi, Riku, Sakuya, Ryo and Jaehee, has been on a fast clock ever since.
NCT WISH ‘I SPY’ Tracklist: All Six Songs
- I SPY (title track)
- We Own This Street
- UPGRADE
- Super Major
- Hubble Time
- Like A Dream
Three of the six songs already have a live audience attached. NCT WISH performed I SPY, We Own This Street and UPGRADE for the first time at the pre-release event, so fans heard a good chunk of the album before it ever hit streaming. Like A Dream, whose Korean title is 꿈결, closes the tracklist.
Telescope Moves and the WISH LAND Concept
The performance gives the song its own vocabulary. Point choreography is shaped like a telescope, a nod to the spy in the title, and a weighty hip-hop rhythm takes over the outro for a dramatic change in atmosphere.
Then there is WISH LAND, the fictional digital world used to promote I SPY. For the fan event, it was rebuilt as a physical space with six rooms, one for each member, arranged around a heart-shaped stage. The concept arc runs from “Confused Boy” to “Lover Boy,” and one segment had fans coaching the members through dating advice in real time. That kind of world-building is a big reason the pre-release event felt closer to a fan festival than a standard showcase.
Inside the ‘I SPY YOU’ Comeback Weekend
The event, titled I SPY YOU, ran Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 10 and 11, at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul. Three shows drew a combined 11,400 attendees, according to SM Entertainment.
Fans outside Korea were not shut out. The Oct. 11 performance was livestreamed through the group’s YouTube and TikTok accounts, giving international fans, including those in the US, a same-day look at a show they could not attend in person. The music video teaser for I SPY landed Oct. 11 at midnight via SMTOWN on YouTube.
Teaser, live debut, livestream, full release: the rollout fit inside roughly 48 hours, a sign of how tightly this comeback was staged.
Why Gocheok Sky Dome Is a Real Step Up
The tour news came at the very end of the weekend and carries the longest shadow. NCT WISH will open its second solo tour, INTO THE WISH : Face Our WISH, with two nights at Gocheok Sky Dome on Jan. 15 and 16, 2027. It marks the group’s first time headlining the venue, a domed baseball stadium in southwestern Seoul that ranks among the country’s biggest indoor concert spaces.
Look at where the group stood six months earlier. In April 2026, NCT WISH played encore concerts of its first tour at KSPO Dome, an arena in Seoul’s Olympic Park. Moving from an arena to a domed stadium in under three years, after a February 2024 debut, is one of the clearest growth signals a Korean act can post. The surprise reveal drew cheers from the crowd in the room.
In the Korean market, the arena-to-dome jump is how a group’s rise gets publicly measured, which makes the January booking a statement about where NCT WISH sits now, not just where it is playing next.
What Comes Next for NCT WISH
The near-term calendar is physical. A pop-up store celebrating I SPY opens in Seoul on Wednesday, Oct. 14, and runs through Oct. 24, then travels to Shanghai in November and Tokyo in December.
For US fans, the honest answer is that nothing is on the books yet. The Seoul dates are the only confirmed stops, no North American shows have been announced, and ticket details for Gocheok have not been released. Whether the tour grows beyond its current run is still an open question.
Three things worth watching: when Gocheok tickets go on sale, whether more cities join the 2027 route, and whether We Own This Street and UPGRADE become permanent pieces of the setlist. The album is streaming now, and the next confirmed date is Jan. 15, 2027, when NCT WISH walks onto the Gocheok stage for the first time.
