RIIZE’s Do Your Dance comeback makes performance the whole point, and one chorus move has K-pop fans obsessed

RIIZE is back in motion. The RIIZE Do your dance comeback arrives with second mini album II, a six track project led by a bass heavy title song that turns confidence, movement and performance into the whole point of the era.

After wrapping their RIIZING LOUD world tour and stacking a streak of million selling records, the group is using II as a line in the sand. Members describe it as “movement,” a “box of crayons” and pure “enjoyment,” raising the question: how do you turn that mindset into a stage you can feel through the screen?

Inside RIIZE’s “Do your dance” comeback

Released June 15, 2026 at 6 p.m. KST, II carries six songs, from opener “Soar” to closer “In a Loop,” with Do your dance planted firmly at the center. Officially, the title track is an uptempo dance song that blends hip hop beats, electronic pop and distorted 808 bass while spotlighting RIIZE’s free spirited, self assured image.

The lyrics come from Haru Lee, daughter of Epik High’s Tablo, who writes from a place of casual swagger, from unshakable youth to breaking charts and hearts. Member Anton points to the recurring phrase “like a pro” as the song’s core idea, explaining that a professional mindset is about enjoying the process and pushing through difficulty rather than being flawless.

Commercially, the concept is landing. According to SM Entertainment, II sold over 910,000 copies on day one, quickly passed one million in under four days and topped charts in Korea, China and Japan, along with multiple iTunes rankings worldwide. Do your dance has also scored wins on Show Champion, Music Bank and Inkigayo, giving RIIZE a coveted triple crown.

Choreography that proves a performance first identity

On stage, Do your dance is built less like a vocal power ballad and more like a precision sport. Wonbin notes that it is the first RIIZE title where the chorus choreography feels this relaxed, with feet grounded and extra moves stripped away. The challenge, he says, is to “hold back” and stay composed, letting confidence show in control instead of constant impact.

The pre chorus moment where the members freeze and only snap their heads to the beat has already become a visual signature, along with the chant like “head, hips, shoulders, toes” sequence. Shotaro focused on pulling out the vibe in these small movements and poured attention into the explosive dance break, which Sungchan calls so unique that strong dancers will want to copy it.

Across the music video, dance practice and music show stages, the camera rarely leaves their formations for long. Critics who are split on the song’s minimal chorus still largely agree that this is RIIZE at their sharpest as performers, turning a hook built on body parts into something you want to learn with your friends.

II mini album: movement, growth and what comes next

Zooming out, the rest of II keeps the movement theme alive while stretching RIIZE’s “emotional pop” sound. “Soar” races forward with rock tinted energy, “D D Done” leans into bass house that Shotaro imagines at festivals, “Overdrive” channels heavy bass and hip hop, “Like a Bomb” hits a more mainstream pop lane and “In a Loop” circles back with hopeful anthem energy.

Eunseok calls the tracklist a “box of crayons,” each color distinct enough for listeners to pick their own favorite. Sohee frames the entire EP around fun, saying he enjoyed every step of preparation and wants fans to feel the same without overanalyzing every lyric or move.

Behind that ease is serious growth. Sungchan shares that, after their first world tour, he recorded vocals while picturing how each part would look on stage. Anton says the members are now comfortable suggesting ideas in the studio, with Shotaro and Wonbin contributing to performance details. For US fans streaming the MV, replaying the dance practice and ordering II through the official US shop, the message is clear: RIIZE is treating this era as proof that their true home is wherever there is room to do their dance.
