Daesung (Kang Dae-sung), also known in Japan as D-Lite, is a South Korean singer and a vocalist of BIGBANG. Debuting with the group in 2006, he became one of the most commercially successful Korean soloists in Japan, and in 2025 released his first Korean-language solo EP, D's WAVE. He is signed to RND Company.

Daesung (born Kang Dae-sung; 강대성), known in Japan as D-Lite, is a vocalist of BIGBANG, often described as the group’s “power vocalist.” Since debuting with BIGBANG in 2006, he built a remarkably successful solo career in Japan, culminating in the EP D-Day (2017), which topped both the Oricon and Billboard Japan album charts.

After leaving YG Entertainment in 2022 and signing with RND Company, he released his first Korean-language solo EP, D’s WAVE, in April 2025 and headlined his own D’s WAVE Asia tour. In 2026 he rejoins G-Dragon and Taeyang for BIGBANG’s XX : COSMOS 20th-anniversary world tour.
