BIGBANG (빅뱅) is one of the most influential groups in K-pop history. Formed by YG Entertainment and debuting on August 19, 2006, the group broke the idol mold with its self-produced, hip-hop-driven sound and outsized cultural footprint, earning the nickname the “Kings of K-pop.” Its members — G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung — have also built major solo careers.
With signature hits such as “Lies,” “Haru Haru,” “Fantastic Baby” and “Bang Bang Bang,” BIGBANG has sold more than 140 million records and set attendance records with its MADE World Tour. In 2026 the group marks its 20th anniversary with the XX : COSMOS world tour, its first full-group world tour since 2017.
