A main vocalist of Girls' Generation from its 2007 debut until her departure on September 30, 2014, she founded the fashion brand Blanc & Eclare in 2014, debuted solo with the EP With Love, J (2016) under Coridel Entertainment, and wrote the New York Times-bestselling novel Shine.
