BTS V’s emotional Weverse hotel privacy plea has ARMY torn, the sleep warning changing the ARIRANG tour mood

BTS V has ARMY in their feelings after an emotional Weverse update about hotel privacy during BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG. On July 1 (KST), he politely asked fans to stop waiting outside the members hotels and attached a sleep-tracker screenshot showing he slept only 2 hours and 27 minutes.

Dropping in the middle of the tours Europe leg, right after Madrid stadium shows and Paris Fashion Week events, the message hit hard. Fans are split between wanting to wrap him in protection and calling out so-called fans whose hotel stalking is pushing him to publicly prove how little rest he gets.

What V Wrote In His Weverse Hotel Post

In his new Weverse post, V thanked fans for welcoming BTS in every country, then drew a clear line. He asked them to “refrain from coming to the front of the hotel,” adding that he does not want to share where he is staying and that visits like this impact his condition on tour.

He explained that while traveling with BTS, rare off-hours to enjoy each city, trying local restaurants or simply walking outside, are precious. V gently asked fans to be considerate so he can rest and experience those moments. With ARIRANG billed as 88 shows in 34 regions worldwide, the plea shows how thin that downtime already is for him.

The Sleep Screenshot And ARMY’s Mix Of Comfort And Fury

What turned the BTS V Weverse hotel post from a boundary into a heartbreak was the attached sleep-tracking app image. It showed just 2 hours 27 minutes of sleep, only 21 minutes of REM, 37 minutes of deep sleep, and a “stability: warning” alert, numbers that would be rough for anyone, let alone someone dancing through stadium sets and fashion schedules.

On X and Reddit, many ARMY said it is “embarrassing” that V had to share his sleep analysis just to ask people not to camp at the hotel, calling the behavior “disrespectful” and “stalker-like.” Others focused on comforting him, reminding each other he is “human first” and saying they would “never even think” of going near a private hotel. The anger is sharpened by history: in 2023 a woman was investigated for stalking V into an elevator with a marriage form, and Jin has previously begged fans on Weverse not to crowd his military training center. Even days before V’s post, Jungkook used a June 28 Weverse live to say he has “no plans for marriage yet,” lightly but firmly pushing back on invasive fantasies.

What V’s Plea Means For ARIRANG Tour Fans

As ARIRANG moves on from Europe toward more global stops, including the United States, V’s message is already being read as a guide for fan etiquette. ARMY community posts are urging fans not to visit hotels, apartments, or other private locations even if addresses leak, and to avoid engaging with photos or videos clearly taken from stalker-style hotel stakeouts.

Instead, fans are encouraging each other to send supportive messages on Weverse, show up only at official venues, and pour energy into streaming BTS and V’s solo work like the 2023 mini album Layover. For many ARMY, the most meaningful response to that “stability: warning” screenshot will be proving, as the tour heads toward their own cities, that they heard him and will leave the hotel doors, and his sleep, alone.
