CORTIS’ Seoul anniversary presales sell out as the group’s next performance era starts taking shape

CORTIS Seoul anniversary concerts sell out at the membership-presale stage, giving the group a major live-performance milestone as its first tour heads into a packed summer. The August 22 and 23 “BIRTHDAY PARTY” shows will take place at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium.

The timing is especially meaningful for COER. The concerts follow CORTIS’ first debut anniversary on August 18, and bring the group back to the venue where it held last year’s “RELEASE PARTY”, turning a debut-era stop into a much bigger anniversary moment.

CORTIS’ Seoul anniversary concerts sell out in presale

The domestic and global membership-presale allocations for both Seoul dates sold out, signaling strong demand without overstating what the milestone means. The available reports confirm a membership-presale sellout, rather than confirming that every ticket inventory category has been exhausted.

Still, the full-circle setting gives the news real weight. CORTIS previously introduced its music at Hwajeong Gymnasium through its album release event. Now, the five-member group returns under the banner of its first solo tour, “PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN.”

Fans unable to attend in person will be able to watch through online streaming on Weverse. That option gives international COER a way to join the anniversary celebration as the group’s touring footprint expands beyond Seoul.

Why CORTIS’ tour demand is building

Seoul is not an isolated win. The tour-opening concerts at Inspire Arena in Incheon were also reported sold out, while CORTIS’ North American dates sold out during presale. The group is scheduled to visit Toronto, New York, Atlanta, Irving, Los Angeles, and San Francisco before returning to Seoul.

Its music momentum helps explain why the live shows are landing now. CORTIS’ second mini album, GREENGREEN, surpassed 3 million cumulative sales on Circle Chart for the July 12 to 18 tracking period, according to the reported chart data. Its six tracks had also passed 300 million combined Spotify streams as of July 20.

Those figures do not guarantee a permanent new commercial tier, but they show that the tour is arriving while listeners are actively engaging with the group’s current era. For a first tour, that alignment between songs and stage demand is a valuable foundation.

“Put Your Phone Down” defines the next era

CORTIS is also giving its tour a clear identity beyond ticket demand. The title encourages audiences to be present instead of experiencing the concert through a phone screen, a concept that puts crowd energy and shared memories at the center of the show.

Martin described the idea as a look ahead for the group’s performance ambitions: “I think this tour will give audiences a clear picture of the kind of performances Cortis hopes to create in the future.” That makes the anniversary dates feel less like a victory lap and more like a statement of intent.

After Seoul, attention will shift to how CORTIS develops that live identity across its remaining North American and Japan dates, and whether the group carries the same performance-first approach into its next music release.
