LE SSERAFIM is a five-member South Korean girl group under Source Music (HYBE). Debuting on May 2, 2022 with the EP Fearless, the group — Sakura, Kim Chaewon (leader), Huh Yunjin, Kazuha and Hong Eunchae — takes its name from an anagram of "I'm Fearless". Known for hits such as "Antifragile", "Unforgiven", "Perfect Night", "Easy" and "Crazy", they were the top rookie act of 2022 and have since charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and performed at Coachella.

Overview

LE SSERAFIM is a South Korean girl group formed by Source Music, a label under HYBE. The five-member group — Sakura, Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha and Hong Eunchae — debuted on May 2, 2022 with the EP Fearless. The name is an anagram of “I’m Fearless”, a statement of self-confidence that also evokes the seraphim.

One of the leading acts of K-pop’s fourth generation, the group broke first-week sales records at debut, entered the Billboard Hot 100 with “Easy” and “Crazy”, topped Korea’s Circle Digital Chart with “Perfect Night”, and performed at Coachella in 2024.

Facts

The group's name is an anagram of the phrase "I'm Fearless" and also references the seraphim, six-winged heavenly beings.
LE SSERAFIM debuted as a six-member group; original member Kim Garam left on July 20, 2022, when Source Music announced that her exclusive contract had been terminated, and the group has promoted as five members since.
The lineup is multinational: Sakura and Kazuha are Japanese, Huh Yunjin is Korean-American, and Kim Chaewon and Hong Eunchae are South Korean.
The group became Louis Vuitton house ambassadors in October 2023 and global ambassadors for Sony in September 2024.
