This comeback detail in (G)I-DLE’s Gimme Dat Love concept photos has Neverland watching the We made era

(G)I-DLE have officially kicked off their next era, dropping the first concept photos for title track Gimme Dat Love from upcoming 9th mini album We made. Released at midnight KST, the teasers reveal a hot, humid summer mood that feels worlds away from the darker pre-release single Crow.

For Neverland, these (G)I-DLE Gimme Dat Love concept photos are the first real look at how the We made story will play out. With Latin pop collaborators on board, a whistle-led summer love sound teased, and an album title that echoes their 2019 mini I made, the group is clearly signaling a new chapter.

We made timeline and comeback details

Cube Entertainment posted the first Gimme Dat Love concept images on June 29, 2026 at 0:00 KST across i-dle’s official social accounts. The full mini album We made and the title track music video are scheduled for July 6 at 6 PM KST, which lands on July 6 at 2 AM PT and 5 AM ET for US fans.

The six-track project confirms Gimme Dat Love as the centerpiece:

  • Mono (feat. skaiwater)
  • Gimme Dat Love (title track)
  • Morning
  • Crow
  • Love Is Pain
  • Mono (Mono ver.) (CD only)

Gimme Dat Love is described as a summer love song built around an addictive whistle hook and an “instinct before words” kind of attraction. It is produced by Daramola and Samantha Cámara, creators with credits alongside Latin and global pop names such as Anitta and Becky G, while Soyeon writes the lyrics under her producer alias icebluerabbit and Yuqi pens B side Love Is Pain.

The rollout follows January single Mono (feat. skaiwater) and the occult, high-drama pre-release Crow, which dropped in mid June and has already appeared on QQ Music and iTunes charts, setting up strong momentum going into this new era.

Inside the first Gimme Dat Love concept photos

In the new teasers, the members step into a steamy bathroom set, dressed in sleeveless sporty tops and relaxed, athletic bottoms that put shoulders and arms in focus. Wet-look, glossy makeup and damp hair amplify the feeling of humidity, while the camera lingers in tight, almost intimate close-ups.

Thermal-style color effects wash over the photos, tinting skin in hot reds and oranges against cooler tiles, as if tracking body heat. In group shots, the members lounge together on a sofa under golden sunset light, their styling softened into something breezy and effortless, like the calm exhale after a long, heated day.

Later teaser images continue the motif with heat-tracking negatives and warm portrait close-ups, confirming “heat” as a core visual language for We made. Paired with the free-spirited golden hour mood teased in the Gimme Dat Love video snippets, the look sharply contrasts the shadowy, ritual-heavy world of Crow.

What this era means for US fans

The title We made directly recalls early mini I made, tying into i-dle’s long running “I” and “We” arc and shifting the focus from individual to collective. Korean coverage notes that the thermal and X ray inspired visuals across the teasers are meant to visualize love as literal body heat, from flushed cheeks to fingertips.

According to the comeback scheduler, three more sets of concept photos and three music video teasers for Gimme Dat Love are planned between June 29 and the July 6 release. Pre save for We made is already available through major platforms, and US Neverland can line up their first listen for early morning on release day.

Fresh off their 2026 i-dle World Tour Syncopation shows at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, the group will bring the We made era to a major US stage at Lollapalooza Chicago on July 31. Fans will be watching to see how Gimme Dat Love, Crow, and the new B sides translate from those steamy photos into a live festival set.
