Yeji is a South Korean singer and dancer, best known as the leader of the JYP Entertainment girl group ITZY, with whom she debuted on February 12, 2019. A JYP trainee since 2015, she was first shown to the public on SBS’s The Fan in 2018, where she was introduced as “JYP’s secret weapon”.

In March 2025 she became the first ITZY member to make a standalone solo debut, releasing the EP Air, which reached the top ten of both Korea’s Circle Album Chart and Billboard’s World Albums chart.
