BTS London concert 2026 turned the city purple, and ARIRANG may already be their biggest era yet

The BTS London concert 2026 turned Tottenham Hotspur Stadium into a purple ocean as the group finally returned to the city for the ARIRANG World Tour. After seven years away, BTS played two sold-out nights that doubled as a full scale celebration for ARMY.

These July 6 and 7 shows were the tour’s only UK dates, so demand and FOMO were intense from the moment tickets went on sale. With a 23 song set, a 2.5 hour runtime and a citywide fan festival, London became the template for what ARIRANG looks like at its biggest.

BTS London Dates, Tour Scale and Ticket Frenzy

BTS brought the BTS World Tour “ARIRANG” in London to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday July 6 and Tuesday July 7 2026. Tickets for both dates sold out in about 30 minutes, even with general sale capped at eight per person.

The London stop sits inside an 88 date, 34 city run that Korean media call the largest K-pop world tour so far, and it also marked BTS first appearance in the city in seven years. That combination made Tottenham feel less like a regular tour stop and more like a historic return.

Doors opened at 5 p.m., with no support act, so every minute belonged to BTS. On night one the group hit the stage around 7:20 p.m. and ran a roughly two and a half hour set that ended before the stadium’s 10:30 p.m. curfew, even as a heatwave pushed temperatures past 30 degrees Celsius.

Inside the BTS London Setlist and Stadium Energy

London’s first show opened with the new single Hooligan, immediately throwing the crowd into the world of BTS latest album Arirang. From there the seven members threaded fresh tracks like Aliens, SWIM and Merry Go Round together with career defining songs that every ARMY knows by heart.

Across 23 songs, Tottenham shook to explosive performances of Run BTS, FAKE LOVE, Not Today, MIC Drop and IDOL, before the energy softened into emotional favorites like Life Goes On. Global smashes Butter and Dynamite kept the entire stadium on its feet, and the night closed with newer cuts Please and Into the Sun.

Fans from around the world gathered outside the stadium hours early in BTS merch and every shade of purple, the color long linked to the group and their fandom. A fan from Scotland told Korean channel YTN that BTS music “transcends language and everything else,” while another from Munich said she admired “the love and respect they show each other and their fans.”

The City Arirang: London’s BTS Takeover

Across town, a fan festival called The City Arirang extended the tour beyond the stadium. The Korean Cultural Centre UK staged a BTS exhibition with music videos, stage costumes, official merch and Korean cultural experiences, while the British Museum’s Korea Gallery hosted themed displays and an eight stop stamp rally. From July 6 to 10, extra BTS THE CITY pop ups added BTS branded spots across London and hinted at similar takeovers still to come.

The London Eye lit up in ARIRANG red and an Arirang themed boat cruised the Thames, while the National Gallery highlighted RM admiration for J. M. W. Turner, showing how BTS connect with art and culture.
